Bridal shopping is different for every girl. It can be overwhelming, exciting, stressful and amazing all rolled into one. Here is #UnVeiledBride Victoria’s experience.
Walking into a bridal store again was really sentimental for me. My mom owned a bridal store so growing up consisted of after school play dates spent playing hide and go seek in between racks of gowns when customers left. I literally dreamed of my wedding day since before I can even remember. I watched so many brides have “that moment” and was in awe with that whole exciting experience.
It was the first time stepping into a bridal store since my mom’s passing and selling our store; it was definitely a conflicting feeling. I was immediately greeted with friendly staff and instantly welcomed into the idea that I am now “the bride”. The ladies helped my sister and I choose a handful of gorgeous dresses. Between the three of us, I had one clip. The third dress in on the rack and I stopped to put my clip on an ivory dress. After trying on a few different styles pulled, I put on the dress I picked and I just knew! It was THE dress. It fit snug and was light enough for a summer day. Although I was already three months expecting, they assured me that my dress would be ordered accordingly. So without hesitation, I said Yes to the Dress! UnVeiled was my first stop and I’m so grateful that they made my once in a lifetime experience so delightful and effortless.
Remember, the dress is important, but the moments are what matters most.
Sincerely,
The UnVeiled Team
